Sorry for the shitty gifs; I miss cosplaying Dave. I need a new Dave wig urgh.
Also headcanon time: Dave used to draw on his skin. Later on, he gets tattoos of a treble and bass clef on the backs of his hands - the bass on the right, treble on the left. For more personal reasons than just looking like a smartass DJ. When he’s older, he can sometimes still see them peeking out during gigs at clubs, from under the pair of gloves he inherited from Bro.

Sorry for the low quality - it was shot with my phone.
I was the derpy flail-dancing Dave Strider with the spinning timetables from Anime Expo this year. I had my headphones in for part of the con cause I need my music, and when I hear my music, I gotta move to it. So despite not knowing how to dance at all, my body just sorta fell into its own rhythm.
(I DID learn three different dances by the end of the con though, so go me!)
What was really funny about doing this was I got filmed by two people with big professional camera equipment (one of the videos got on T.V. apparently), and got a lot of pictures taken off to the side. I’m still trying to find said videos and pictures, so this is all I got for now xD

So for those that went to Anime Expo… hi, I’m the really loud, obnoxious, and random Dave who was shuffling and flail-dancing a lot with my headphones in and spinning my timetables.
I’m sorry that I didn’t say hello if you walked by and tried to talk to me D: I probably had my headphones in while I was shuffling (or attempting to shuffle) on the carpet, and I tend to get lost in my own little world when my music is on. I hope I didn’t come off as rude to anyone! D:
But yeah.
I’m the Dave that embarrassed the shit out of herself, but had a ton of fun at my first AX!

hey tumblr, am i doing it right?
[ This is my very first test for God Tier Dave. It’s for A-Kon this weekend, and I’m sewing on the sleeves now (so my arms aren’t bare xD)
I plan to keep my hood off when I wear it this weekend (for the most part) because Dallas is going to be hot as fuck, and having a wig plus a hood isn’t a discomfort I want. Yeah, I’m a baby, lemme alone.
So uhhh… the entire thing is handstitched (minus the shirt; I just painted that). Also, the pants are fakking huge; need to add a drawstring or something to them, or they’re gonna slide off.
The true colours of the fabrics are in the first picture; the cape also flares out dramatically when I walk (it’s so exciting for me xD)
So uhm… feedback? ^^;
And I used my turntable as a prop cause my Deringer is looking pitiful right now]

And suddenly, I get struck by the idea that I cosplay a half-way decent Dave. Maybe.
I’m probably disillusioned or something.
Since these pics, I’ve gotten a better wig, and my stuff is more creative, and my God Tier Dave cosplay looks better than I thought it would. Maybe I’ll post nice quality pictures when I actually make a good Dave xD
