[ Side note: I know the wig is the wrong shade; it’s mainly for my test run and will be correctly styled later if I plan to pack it this weekend. The undershirt and pants need to be re-dyed for more of a greenish tint (still want that mint green colour instead of blue-mint) and socks/ninja shoes/whatever she wears on her feet aren’t done, and I need to make the pointy ears. So as a few people know, I’m going to be in California next weekend on a trip with friends that I’ve been planning for months. Everything else has been prepaid; the flight has been scheduled and paid for, the shuttle is paid for, the hotel is paid for… but there’s something else important that hasn’t been paid for: Food.
I nearly fell over today because I realized that I had no money for food for that entire half-week (leaving Wednesday the 27th). I literally have 67 cents to my name currently, and the money I had been saving for this very trip went right out the window in helping my parents pay for bills.
I am temporarily out of my job for the summer, and have had no luck in getting a seasonal one to pick me up.
I’m not going to just up and ask for free money, cause one, that’s rude, and two, I should at least somewhat compensate if someone is going to be giving me.
