Sadly, this is definitely me. Like, your clothes could be all over the place, but because I’ve cut, styled, and even dyed wigs for the past four years, I always tend to look at wigs. I absolutely adore or absolutely despise how they look sometimes.
I am such a hair person that it even makes me kick myself. I absolutely cannot stand dollar-store wigs that are basically this crumpled mess on a person’s head. Yes, they tried, but I feel they resorted to something damaging to the overall outcome when if they had saved up just another ten dollars or something, they could’ve gotten a fantastic wig, thick and full, and had an amazing BAM cosplay overall?
That’s not to say that I’m perfect with wigs either - sometimes even I need help with styling, too! But a good base always helps, and I’m always resourceful in finding good quality bases for an extremely affordable price.
Just… whenever I see someone putting spray-in their hair, it makes me want to cry sometimes. Because they’re limiting their potential for themselves and their cosplay :\
At the same time, I feel like an elitist bitch for saying this.
